1863 Felix Kosher Dining Saloon Civil War Token
1863 Felix (Kosher in Hebrew) Dining Saloon, Fuld-NY-630W-1b, Copper. The Hebrew letters below FELIX spell out "kosher." This is a very popular token, since during the Civil War few tokens had any Hebrew inscriptions. The Felix Kosher Dining Saloon was at 256 Broadway in New York.

Civil war merchant token. Miller-NY-969. Struck in bronze metal with a reeded edge. 28mm. Obverse = "Woodgate & Co. / Importers of Brandies, Wines, and Gins / 83 Water Street, New York / 1860". (Note, tobacco also formed part of their business.) Reverse = "Represented by J. N. T. Levick". (Note, Levick was a pioneering numismatist and the foremost authority on tokens in his day.)
Coins - 1863 Civil War Token - Uncirculated You won't find a nicer example of an 1863 Civil War token than this one. It is uncirculated and still 70 percent red. A great piece of history to add to your collection.
Here is an interesting Civil War Token. It is brass instead of the typical bronze. The state abbreviation is ‘NI’ in error instead on MI.

You are viewing an extremely fine quality one cent token coin struck in 1837. The coin measures 19 mm or 3/4" in diameter. It weighs 2.6 grams. On the reverse side it reads: Feuchtwangers Composition One Cent. It is dated on the eagle front : 1837.
