1942, " JUDENSTERN" AS WORN BY THE JEWS IN HOLLAND DURING THE NAZI OCCUPATION. In 1940, the Germans occupied Holland ands soon introduced the harsh anti-Jewish laws that were aiready in effect in Geermany. All Jews above the sge of six were made to wear a 'yellow star'. This was approver by Hitler on April 27, 1942, and carried out by WILLI Zopf, head of Department IVB4 (Gestapo), three days later. The manufacture of 569,355 Jewish stars has recently been traced to a formerly Jewish owne firm in the Netherlands called De Nijveerheid, and not the Litzmannstadt Ghetto as previously thought. (2) This 'star was worn by a Dutch Jew, who escaped the holocaust, and settled in South Africa, (3) Ghetto Amsterdam, Aluminium tag, Jood 1358.
