Mongolia. 1917 (May 31) Cover from London to Calcutta, entertaining, with 1d stamp hand, stamped oval "ACCIDENT AT SEA / MONGOLIA / 23.6. 17", back stamped at Bombay and Calcutta (July 3). The "Mongolia" struck a mine sixty miles from Bombay and sank with the loss of 23 lives.
