The cover bears 9d. stamps tied by a Montagu November 17, 1949, postmark, and a handstamp indicating postage due of '6d' alongside. Opposite, on the other edge of the cover, there is a violet Israel "to pay" box handstamp, indicating postage dues of 10mil. An Israel postage due overprinted stamp of 10mil is affixed and canceled in Jerusalem on October 2nd, 1949.
