This lot unveils the conclusive design phases of the Jerusalem 1949 250pr. stamp (5c. 24, Mi 15). The last preliminary stage, depicted at the upper right corner, showcases a larger, darker rendition sans denomination. Meanwhile, the upper left presents the final approved design, complete with denomination and final size. Both designs measure 37mm x 44mm, crafted on black cream paper with 10mm margins.Included beneath the essays is the First Day Cover (FDC), embellished with a hand-stamped inscription "From the collection of David Remez" at the bottom right, alongside his signature.
