Geneva, Switzerland, mailed December 2, 1944 and arriving in Geneva on May 15, 1945 after a 6 month detour: Postage of 25gr (x8) stamps Scott # 44, tied by one line rubber stemped 'WAESZAWA' the registration marked in pencil on front with the aforementioned rubber stamp dated 22/11/44 Wedel' (indicating the liberated part of Warsaw), the long route was in order to avoid the German Occupied territories; Russian Field post to Moscow, to Ankara transit cancel post office # 23 26/3/45, and Cairo, Egypt- censored tap and cancel, to Gibraltar registration rubber stsmp'19 mar 45'were added and to the final post Geneva.
