this route  - a  United States line  the NewYork - Rio - Buenos Aires Line, or NEBRA generally referred to as NYBRA.  was later merged into the Pan American Airways, Inc.Shortly after midnight, February 25, 1930, the first NYRBA plane arrived at Port-au-Prince northbound, where it had been expected at noon Sunday the 23rd.On Wednesday, Feb. 26, the first northbound NYRBA mail left Haiti for Santiago de Cuba, Camaguey, Havana and the United States.The first southbound plane of the NYRBA Line departed from Miami as well as Haiti on March 7. lncidently this plane had previously been christened the "HAITI." Covers were dispatchedto all points with the usual Port-au-Prince machine cancellation.

Flown on the San Jose - Panama first flight with boxed first flight cachet on front and boxed 'AGENCIA POSTAL DE PANAMA SERVICIO DE CORREO AEREO PANAMA' boxed first flight cachet applied on arrival on front with PANAMA arrival cds on reverse.
