1948 Israel Interim period, a cover bears 10mil JNF overprinted stamps. These stamps were canceled in Haifa on May 16th using a circular date stamp. Additionally, it is marked in red pencil with "to pay 'T'," indicating insufficient postage. The cover was then sent to Nahariya, where a 10mil emergency local stamp was affixed to cover the deficiency in postage. The stamp is cataloged as Bale #120 with a value of $450.
