1948: A cover franked with a 10 mil Doar Ivri stamp but cancelled with a Minhelet Ha'am postmark from Safad during the interim period. The sender's address is written on the back, indicating it was sent from a visitor at the Carmel Hotel in Safad and addressed to a family relative in Givat Ada. This cover is unique due to the combination of an Israel stamp and a pre-State of Israel postmark, which was accepted and used as the cover was indeed posted.
