1898, Dec. 11th: Havatzeleth Hebrew newspaper, Issue No. 10, mailed at the newspaper rate in Palestine. It bears a blue revenue stamp, tied by the printing, and a 5 ci. green overprinted stamp, cancelled by the Jerusalem Ottoman post office. Addressed to Mr. H. Yosef Geiger, Safed (Syrian).
The "Yerusalem" stamp is listed in the Bale catalog as No. 774.
Lot 13
Bani Saab.
1917, Beni Saab - Qalqilya: 1917 5 Para Provisional Stamp (Michel L.III), overprinted on a 1913 Adrianopol green stamp, on piece. Cancelled twice. This emergency issue was prompted by severe weather conditions in 1917, which hindered supply. Total quantity issued: 500.

Ottoman empire in the Holyland, a 5 Pia horizontal strip of 4 (16 Pa) on card ( Dead Sea Landscape) cancelled twice with violet Jericho postmarks addressed to the USA.

Ottoman postal receipt with a scarce small Jerusalem post office seal and a Jerusalem postmark (Bale: 728). The seal is rare, used by the Jerusalem postal agency.
