On the occasion of Timber Day in 1942, the Dijon philatelic association, taking inspiration from the Streasbourg Block, took advantage of this event to fairs print on the white strip which separated two sheets of T.P. 0,10 Mercure, The announcement of his Exhibition.
Due to some controversies raised by this initiative, a member of the appreciation sent to the manager Petain three envelopes, shipped from Dijon located in the occupied zone, to Vichy in the free zone, by special mail, via Paris. The marshal returned from one of them with the stamps of postage overloaded with his personal claw.
Estimate. $300 - $400
