Coins - 1863 Civil War Token - Uncirculated You won't find a nicer example of an 1863 Civil War token than this one. It is uncirculated and still 70 percent red. A great piece of history to add to your collection.
Here is an interesting Civil War Token. It is brass instead of the typical bronze. The state abbreviation is ‘NI’ in error instead on MI.
Obverse reads: Morris & Messinger/ Dealers in Hardware/ Iron, Steel, Nails & Glass/ Pontiac NI
Reverse reads: Good Samaritan, 1863 and depicts a stove.
