THE THERESINSTADT ADMIISSION STAMPS. The most distinetive item from the field of "The Mail Service of the Ghetto Terezin' is definitely the 'Terezin Admission Stamps' - for its character, the way it was used and the number of preserved copies. The necessity to use the stamp for a parcel and the meticulous recording of the recipients of the stamp during the existence of the Proectorate made this item rare. The situation changed during the second half of 1945 when a large number of unused admission stamp appeared on  the market. They came probably from the Jewish Council of  Elders in Prague or from the store of the Central Office for the Settlement of the Jewish Question.
