This pendant/brooch by well known Israeli artist Dani Karavan is one of the most sought after in the series of artist designed jewelry that were awarded to sellers of Israel bonds in the 1970s.
It depicts the stone tablets of the 10 commandments in modernist abstract form. The brooch has a bright golden finish and this one has a little faux turquoise.
Suitable for men or women. Size: 1 7/8" x 1 1/2", gold tone chain is @ 22" long. Marks: Dani Karavan '76--also signed in Hebrew
