1899-1900: Scenes from the Kaiser's visit to Jerusalem, this lot comprises two Turkish postal postcards. Both cards are franked with Ottoman 20 para stamps and are tied with an Ottoman CDS. One card was mailed from Nazareth in 1899 to Salzburg and was censored. The other card was sent from Jerusalem in 1900 to Berlin. Additionally, both postcards were routed via Jerusalem with an Austrian post office CDS alongside.
