Hantke, Yagreenbaum and  others, this historic piece offers a glimpse into the organization's foundational activitiesThe Jewish Settlement Treasury, also known as "אוצר התישבות היהודים" in Hebrew, is synonymous with the renowned Jewish Colonial Trust. In 1934, the trust underwent a significant transformation, transitioning from a British financial institution to a powerful holding company. It assumed control over Bank Anglo-Palestine, later known as Bank Leumi Le-Israel, a position it maintained until 1983. Additionally, in 1936, the trust's stocks entered trading at the Exchange in Securities, paving the way for the establishment of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
