1948 interim mail/Nahariya 4th slogan: 4 APR 1948 commercial cover from NAHARIYA to HAIFA, mailed pre-franked 10m per period letter rate using horizontal pair 5m Mandate pictorals & tied front/back by 4th slogan postmark on 1st day of use cover was transported from besieged Nahariya by sea to HAIFA, where posted 13 AP 48 at the Mandate Post Office. Slit open at top, horizontal fold.
40m local stp top marginal pos. 1 tied by vf pmk RLZ 5 MAY 1948 to HAIFA, arrival pmk same day on back; vf scarce date.
