Australia 1931//1934, group of 3 airmail covers:
- 1931 Sydney Australia First Special Flight Airmail Cover FFC Special souvenir 'First All - Australian Air Mail Flight' envelope, addressed to Calcutta India. Bearing mixed franking of 1931 Airmail 6d (x6) & 1929 King George V 4d. (Mi:113 & 76XC ; SG. 139 & 102) , tied by Sydney Airmail cds,
- 1934 Envelope postmarked with the Royal Train cancel dated 10th December - part of Prince Henry, The Duke of Gloucester, Philatelic tour - the cover was flown on the inaugural Westbound Imperial Airways service on the new Australian extension from Brisbane to Darwin at the start of the first regular airmail route from Australia to England. At Darwin, the 55967 items of mail from Brisbane were transferred to two Imperial Airways aircraft bound for England via Singapore. The scheduled transit time between Brisbane and London was planned to be 12 ½ days.
