Berlin [1923].Bialik lived in Odessa until 1921 when Moriah's publishing house was closed by Communist authorities due to mounting paranoia following the Bolshevik Revolution. With the intervention of Maxim Gorki, a group of Hebrew writers was given permission by the Soviet government to leave the country.In a letter of response to a giveback or repay for Mr. Nierstein's books, Bialik  explains this situation : "Regarding your claim... I wish to inform you that you have to contact Mr. Ravnitzki, as he was Moria's treasurer. On this note kindly observe that the  Bolsheviks confiscated all the money and business, we fly  Russia defenseless and empty-handed, living behind years of hard work. After all, we were not supposed to render our lives for the sake of a few items you have disposed of in our publishing house".Hebrew handwritten, signed Good condition, Creases, some tears and filing holes at the left margin.
