Design features on left side of note Portrait of Fisherman against background of a boat on water with men pulling it, one person sitting, and on back of boat one with pole pushing it. Foreground w/ sea weed and on horizon low land with Palm trees, in left corner serial number. On top in big letters "Bank of Israel", on 3 corners Number "5", right bottom corner with signatures, on left year 1958 and place of Issue Jerusalem. On right side center "FIVE LIROT" and serial number. On frame signature of M. Shamir on right, on left stamp of Shamir Bros. Tel Aviv.
