Palestine, Currency Board, 500 mils, 15 August 1945, serial number K051402, purple and pale pink-orange, Rachels Tomb, Bethlehem at left, value in green guilloche at centre, value at each corner, value at each corner, four printed signatures of the Members of the Palestine Currency Board, S. Caine, Sir Percy Ezechiel, R.N. Kershaw and Christopher G. Eastwood low centre, reverse purple, the Citadel of Jerusalem with the Tower of David at centre, value at left and right and low centre (Pick 6d, Dabbah page 196), only 7 notes believed extant with this K prefix, faint crease, On the left side are 4 small pin holes otherwise an original extremely fine and possibly the finest example extant of the key note Estimated Value $3000 - 5000
