Nazi party advertising 1932 election propaganda 'leaflet' created by printing a Jewish caricature and anti-semitic message on a genuine 1000 Reichsmark bill from the German 1923 high-Inflation period -- the bill reminding the people of the extremely hard times they went through, and the caricature places the blame. This was printed on a used bill, so is pretty worn, as per scan, starting to separate along the fold in center. "Das Gold, das Silber, und den Speck nahm uns Jud, un liese uns disen Dreck...Kommt zu Hitler, werdet Nationalsozialisten" -- "The Jew takes our Gold, Silver and Bacon and leaves us this crap...Come to Hitler, become a National Socialist." Even beyond the nuttiness of the general sentiment -- the jews are taking the *bacon*? (The term 'Speck' can be used for ham, prosciutto, or bacon, but it's still pork!)
This is the single rarest piece of Anti-Semitic Currency in the world. It was issued in tandem with "German Day", an Expo in Bremen. Its sole purpose, besides being a souvenir of the event, was to evoke disdain for the "Jewish Elite" who are depicted on the front of the bill. These were the "Wise Men" of Zion aka The Elders of Zion plotting global economic domination (see history below)
The reverse of the bill depicts the "Shaming Donkey" in the main Bremen Square. Strapping an individual or group to this object was much like the practice of tarring and feathering. The inscription, loosely translated, reads: "The current perpetrators of the scam economy belong on the Shame Donkey".
